INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN

Great Teaching Isn't Magic. It's Method.

Why improvement is a matter of systematic mastery experiences, not accidental talent.

Confidence in teaching does not arise from positive thinking alone; it comes from mastery experiences [8]. While advice often follows patterns of emotional validation, competence-based confidence is anchored in demonstrable skill that endures setbacks. If teaching effectiveness is a skill set, improvement becomes a matter of method rather than personality.

The missing variable in instruction is not experience, but whether improvement is systematic or accidental. Great yoga teaching is method.
